How to Delete Your Data
If you wish to delete your data from SHARK, you have the following options:
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the SHARK app and log in to your account
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to admin@shark.guidewith the subject “Data Deletion Request” and the email address associated with your SHARK account.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account information (name, email, phone number)
- All brand data you own (products, orders, customers, stock records)
- Chat messages and conversation history
- Social media connection tokens and publishing data
- Loyalty points and voucher records
- Uploaded files and images
Facebook/Meta Data
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account, deleting your SHARK account will also remove all access tokens, page connection settings, and conversation data stored within SHARK. This does not delete your actual Facebook/Instagram account or any posts already published. To manage your Facebook data directly, visit Facebook App Settings.
Processing Time
Requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Data We May Retain
Certain data may be retained as required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax compliance). Such data will be kept only for the legally required period.
